A wet visit to Wild Acres

It takes more than a few showers to deter our hardy volunteers! Thank you so much to the 30 of you who helped at Wild Acres Nature Reserve on Saturday in wet conditions.

There are over 12,000 native trees planted at this beautiful nature reserve just north of Arklow and we were delighted to help spread cardboard and hay for the morning around a couple km of hedgerow to help them grow.

The reserve was setup by Gilly Taylor and Brian O'Toole and the amount of habitats they have created and conserved across the 17 acres was truly incredible!

Thank you for the tour and the very generous hospitality Gilly and Brian, we look forward to visiting and helping again in the future. Join our volunteer list and be at the next one.
